  • Catawba Island is also home to one of Ottawa County's Mass Casualty Trailers.
  • In addition to the fleet of vehicles, the CIVFD has an equipment trailer specially designed to carry equipment used in ice rescues which includes a 14’ aluminum boat with a small outboard motor and a snowmobile that was purchased for the CIVFD Fireman’s Association by the CIVFD Women’s Auxiliary.
  • To provide fire suppression and personnel transport for dive and water rescue calls, the CIVFD has a 21’ steel hull fire boat with an onboard fire pump and firefighting foam which docked at Foxhaven Marina during the boating season.
